How to open a securities trading account

The securities trading module is designed to offer a seamless and user-friendly experience for individual and institutional investors to trade securities on the NGX (Nigerian Exchange Limited) platform.  Follow the Account Opening Flow to open an account on the app. 

Below are the requirements for each account type:

Individual account opening requirements:

1. Personal Information
2. Next of Kin Information
3. Bank Account Information
4. Documents to upload - Valid means of Identity, Passport photograph, utility bill (not older than 3 months), signature

Corporate account opening requirements:

1. Company Information
2. Primary Contact Information
3. Bank Account Information
4. Documents to upload - Authorized signatory's passport, Authorized signatory's signature, valid means of Identity, certificate of incorporation, corporate affairs commission, memorandum and articles of incorporation

Please note there is a 1mb size limit on all document uploads.

Users must ensure all information presented is accurate and up to date for a seamless onboarding experience. Account name must match BVN full name and address must be the same as address on KYC documents uploaded.
